Okay, so my post before about how wonderful my zucchini garden is and I'm just so excited about it all...Times have changed, and now I want to burn it all. I have zucchini coming off the roof - there's so much. I've never grown it before, but apparently I have magical soil that will grow the stuff from an inch to nine inches in a day. I planted 19 plants. Okay, so I didn't know!! Troy comes home from work and asks me if I've picked the zucchini yet, and I just want to run away! I don't go out there anymore to look at it. There's too too much!!! I'm seriously scared to go out there. I don't know what to do with it all. People want it, but only like two at a time. That's simply not enough!! My counter doesn't have enough room for it. We have it all the time. AND we went out to Marie Callender's dinner the other night after Troy's cousin was sealed in the temple (we're so proud of you Marcus & Becky!), and what in the crap did I order?? ZUCCHINI!!! I was sooo mad. I actually PAID for the stuff!? What in the heck was I thinking!? I have no idea but I wanted to cry the whole way home. At least I got pie. Anyway, zucchini sucks.

Mel, you are so hilarious! I did that one year with cucumber. I loved your entry about not wanting to go out there. I laughed.
At least you planted something! I am going to try and plant a garden next year...Maybe not zucchini!
Oh my crap Mel! That was so dang hilarious! I'll come get zuc's. We love them! I'll put in an order right now for 10. Seriously 10! I'll make bread or something. I want to come see you anyways so, yeah, 10.

What?? Brianne is getting married??? That is exciting. Tell her congrats! I remember when she was born. crazy!!!

Mealanie, Laura called me and told me to look at everyones' blogs. She actually made me a post comment name,etc, since I am seriously computer challenged. Anyway, I loved your zucchini post. We can all relate. I only plant one or two of the stuff, and still get too many. I hope they have finally died. Good luck. Look forward to seeing you at The Wedding.
