Zucchini!

My first garden - all by myself. Okay, so it's not that spectacular because it's just zucchini and that's the easiest thing to grow, but I was still so proud! I have a billion zucchini so if anyone wants some awesome ORGANIC zucchini, please come get some! Troy is going to go insane because I've tried so many different zucchini recipes lately. Dinner consists of at least two kinds - and he hates zucchini. Except I made THE BEST zucchini brownies the other day and I think they're my favorite brownie recipe to date now. Delish! This picture is of the first picks that we had. Every day after that, we've picked about this much each time.

Stake Anniversary - 10 years!

Troy, Brianne, Logan, Holly, & Brooks...

Okay, so you've probably never heard of this before....our stake had a HUGE celebration (we called it a Jubilation) for being a stake for 10 years. I know, don't ask. But they had all sorts of stuff going on at the park for the event. We brought our KFC and had a family picnic, there was a band playing, a talent show, candy canon, face painting, tons of kids activities, and a SPECTACULAR firework show! I mean, a really really good firework show. So we have a few very wealthy people in our ward that funded that part. It was better than the cities firework display. We brought the whole gang to it and had a really good time.

Here's a picture of us all trying to get the candy from the candy canon. I love Phillip's face. Givin' that kid a crusty. We had to tackle a few kids to get the goods for our babes. I think we were the only adults that were in the line up that would run for the candy instead of our kids. It was all for the cause.

July 4th Weekend!

We had a BLAST this 4th of July Weekend! It started off with us saving a spot of the parade in Provo. We staked off early to get a good spot in some shade. Brianne, Cristyn, and some friends were planning on sleeping over at our spot that night. We found out that someone had taken our spot later that night so I can to come down there at one in the morning to open up a can on someone. I was sooo mad!! Luckily, a really nice lady with a massive spot let all of the fam sit with her. That parade went well and we had the whole gang there. Here are a few pics of the event...

We got up early to see the balloon fest but we were a little late and they had to start even earlier because of the hot weather. It was fun still, but boys were a little out of it.Later that day, we went up to my Uncle Danny's house for a BBQ and games. It was great to see everybody and all the kids all grown up. Here are some pictures of it. Jared & Laura came too with their new baby girl named Lily. She is sooo precious. Jared just melts when he's with her. It's really cute.

This is Tyson and his second cousin Jocelyn. They were sooo adorable together just playin' around in their backyard.

On Sunday, it was my mom's birthday so we all went to the park and had a picnic together. It was the perfect weather for a picnic. Not too hot, not too cold with a slight breeze. Here's Tyson chasing Grandpa around. This is how Dad gets his workouts....chasing the grand kids. Tyson LOVES running so we're thinking he's probably going to be a runner...

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!!

A Campin' We Will Go...

We finally did it! After a long time coming we finally got our camper put together and ready to go camping! Troy worked VERY hard getting it ready. It's an old trailer that's been his Troy's family for a while now. We bought it from his sister Lynn a few months ago. Troy fixed some paneling that had major water damage, put a new fan in, fixed the battery, patched a hole in the roof, put in new tail lights, and together we reupholstered the whole thing! This was a pretty big project for us and took a lot of hours. For those of you who know, yeah, I failed sewing in High School so this was pretty exciting. Here is a picture I snuck in of Troy sewing (reupholstering as he wants me to put it). It's cute. He's very good at everything. I can't believe how great he is at fixing things around the house and even sewing! It's incredible.

We went up American Fork Canyon to a couple spots. It was so beautiful up there. I just love the fresh air that you get camping. Here is a picture of our camper - we call her CAT. I'm not going to say what that stands for...

Okay, for all those out there that will get offended, please turn your head and skip this picture. Troy is carving our initials into an Aspen for the very first (and probably last) time. It was romantic :) Tyson's doing an awesome dance move.

It was incredibly gorgeous up there and we can't wait to do it again.
